If you're going through a hard time alone, I hope this finds you and helps you through this period in your life. I would like to tell you about my experience of being alone without friends or family. The thing that really helped me get through this period was a quote I once heard which says "Life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it". You can choose to use this time to feel sorry for yourself, be sad and not do anything or you can use this time to better yourself. The time I spent being alone, I realized that it was the time in my life that I made the most improvement. Being alone is an opportunity to improve yourself in every area of you life without anyone bothering you. Your number one asset is time and now you have a lot of it. You can choose to use that time to better yourself; take care of your body, excerise, eat the right food, mediate, listening to audio books. My Friday started ever so peaceful. I was out of the house once again very early with little to no sleep from the night before. I was very eager to start the weekend and attend a family wedding. Though I'm not a fan of Nigerian weddings, it was a distraction for me and I couldnt wait. I kept a low profile throughout the day and never knew this was the calm before the hurricane.
